With its new office at the Technology Park of the  IIT Illinois Institute of Technology, the new corporation wants to promote high-tech products from Saarland and serves as a point of contact for U.S. firms interested in such products.

The IIT and gwSaar Saarland Economic Promotion Corporation actively support the new project. A corresponding agreement was concluded in 2008 already.

„With the INM we could win a worldwide recognized technological organization with much experience in industrial cooperations”, said State Secretary Dr. Christian Ege. “The Science Park Saar takes an essential part regarding the internationalization of technology transfer in Saarland.”

Through the initiative Saarland Empowering Nano , nanotechnology from Saarland could already be successfully placed in Asia and South America. The creation of an own U.S. corporation shall continue this success story.

The first industrial workshop on Nanotechnology and Architecture shall take place after the company opening ceremony in Chicago and is already fully booked. A following event is planned for autumn.
